Before You Buy
Answering these questions first makes every later decision easier and helps us recommend the right garments for your team.
How It Will Be Worn
Daily front-of-house wear, heavy-duty workshop use and occasional event branding all point to different garments.
Working Environment
Kitchens, warehouses and outdoor sites have different demands for durability, breathability and visibility.
Branding Requirements
Logo placement, colour count and whether you need a premium or hard-wearing finish shape the branding method.
Team Size & Roles
Headcount, role variations and the mix of sizes determine quantities, reorder needs and per-garment cost.
Budget & Timeline
A clear budget per person and a delivery deadline help match garments and branding to what is realistic.
Safety & Compliance
Some roles require certified hi-vis or protective garments. Identify these before choosing styles.
Choosing the Right Garments
Match each garment to the role it is worn in. Most teams use a combination across their staff.

Polo Shirts
A versatile everyday choice for hospitality, retail and corporate teams. Embroider well and balance smartness with comfort.

Hoodies & Sweatshirts
Warm, casual layers for trade, warehouse and outdoor staff. Choose weight and lining to suit the environment.

Hi-Vis Workwear
Essential for logistics, construction and roadside roles. Check the required certification class before ordering.

Workwear Jackets
Softshell, fleece and waterproof options protect outdoor and site-based teams across the seasons.

Choosing a Branding Method
The right branding depends on your garments, artwork and quantity. As a general rule, choose embroidery for anything customer-facing or long-term (corporate, hospitality and garments that need to look premium through repeated washing) and print for events, promotions or high-volume basics, large logo areas and multi-colour designs. For a deeper comparison, see our embroidery vs printed logos guide.
Embroidery
Premium, hard-wearing logos on polos, jackets and corporate wear.
- Highly durable
- Premium textured finish
- Best for logos & small text
Print Transfers (DTF)
Detailed, full-colour designs and smaller quantities.
- Full-colour detail
- Cost-effective for low volume
- Great for complex artwork
Screen Printing
Large quantities of t-shirts and bold, simple designs.
- Best value at volume
- Vivid, long-lasting colour
- Ideal for events & teamwear

Fabric, Fit & Compliance
The details that decide whether a uniform lasts and works for your team day to day.
Fabric & Quality
Heavier fabrics last longer and feel more premium; lighter blends suit warm environments. Better quality usually means fewer reorders.
Sizing & Fit
Collect accurate sizes up front and consider unisex versus tailored fits. A size set or samples can help larger teams order with confidence.
Safety & Compliance
Roles needing high visibility or protection may require certified garments. Confirm the standard required before choosing styles.

- As a guide, embroidered polo shirts run from about £8 to £22 per item supplied and branded, depending on the brand, fabric and quantity. The more you order, the lower the unit cost. For an exact figure, send us your details and we will quote you back.
- Turnaround is typically 3-4 working days from artwork approval. We handle the artwork setup in-house. You send a logo file and we do the rest, so most team orders are ready quickly.
- Yes. For new clients we can arrange samples or a size set so you can check the garment, fit and branding before committing to a full team order. This is especially useful for larger orders where getting sizing right first time matters.
- A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is ideal as it scales cleanly for both embroidery and print. If you only have a logo as a PNG or JPG, send the highest resolution you have, ideally 300 DPI at the size it will be used, and we will advise or recreate it if needed.
- Yes. Once your design is set up with us there is no minimum on re-orders, so you can top up sizes or add new starters in small quantities and the branding will match your original order.
- As a general rule, embroidery suits anything customer-facing or long-term (corporate, hospitality, polos, jackets and fleece) because it looks premium and lasts through repeated washing. DTF or screen printing is better for large logo areas, multi-colour designs, T-shirts and high-volume or event wear.
- Yes. We supply organic cotton and recycled-fibre ranges from brands such as Stanley/Stella and Native Spirit, plus sustainable bags and accessories from Westford Mill. We can put together a full eco range for businesses with sustainability commitments or ESG reporting requirements.
