About Premier workwear from BR Apparel

Premier is a hospitality and front-of-house range rather than a workwear one. Where most of the brands we supply are built around polos, fleeces and site kit, Premier is built around aprons, chef wear, poplin shirts and tabards, which is what a kitchen, a bar or a treatment room actually needs.

BR Apparel is a Bradford-based supplier of Premier. We hold the range, brand it in-house with embroidery and DTF, and supply it to restaurants, cafes, hotels, care providers and salons across West Yorkshire.

The apron range on its own runs to dozens of styles, from a plain bib apron through to cross-back barista, denim, heavy canvas and waterproof versions, plus Fairtrade organic cotton and recycled polyester options. That breadth matters more than it sounds: an apron is the most visible garment in a hospitality uniform, and it is usually the one people settle for rather than choose.

Why Choose Premier

Premier is the range we point hospitality and front-of-house teams at, for reasons that have very little to do with what makes a good workwear brand.

  • Built for front of house, not adapted for it

Aprons, chef trousers, poplin shirts and blouses, tabards and salon gowns are the core of the range rather than an afterthought bolted onto a workwear catalogue. The cuts and the fabrics are specified for service, not for a site.

  • An apron range wide enough to actually choose from

Bib, waist, cross-back, mid length, bar, tunic and pocket styles, in cotton, denim, canvas, chino and waterproof fabrics. Two venues with different rooms can carry the same logo and still look like themselves.

  • Made for commercial laundering

Hospitality garments get washed hot, often, and usually not by the person wearing them. Premier front-of-house garments are specified with that in mind, which is why we normally recommend embroidery rather than a transfer on this range.

  • Sustainable options that are actually in the range

Fairtrade organic cotton aprons, recycled polyester blends and organic cotton bib aprons sit in the standard range rather than in a separate premium line, so choosing them does not mean changing supplier or waiting longer.

The Premier Range We Supply

We supply the Premier range and brand it to order. These are the categories Bradford and Yorkshire hospitality teams ask for most often.

  • Premier Colours bib apron in black

    Aprons

Priced to suit the style and quantity

The largest part of the range by some distance. Bib, waist, mid length, bar, cross-back barista and pocket styles, in cotton, denim, heavy canvas, chino and waterproof fabrics, plus Fairtrade organic and recycled options. The most visible garment in a hospitality uniform and the best one to embroider.

  • Premier essential chef trousers in black

    Chef wear

Priced to suit the garment and quantity

Chef trousers and kitchen garments cut for long shifts in heat, supplied alongside the front-of-house side so a whole venue can be kitted in one order rather than two.

  • Premier long sleeve poplin shirt in black

    Poplin shirts and blouses

Priced to suit the garment and quantity

Long and short sleeve poplin shirts and ladies blouses, including fitted and supreme versions. The garment that carries a smarter front of house, and one that shows immediately if the fabric weight is too low.

  • Premier CoolChecker pique polo shirt in black

    CoolChecker polo shirts

Guide: around £7 to £18 per polo, supplied and branded

Moisture-wicking pique polos in unisex and ladies fits, including a heavier Plus version. The practical option for busy service, kitchens and anywhere a cotton polo would be uncomfortable by mid-shift.

  • Premier pocket tabard in black

    Tabards and housekeeping

Priced to suit the garment and quantity

Pocket and long pocket tabards and wrap-around tunic aprons, including waterproof versions. Standard kit for housekeeping, cleaning, care and food production teams.

  • Premier waterproof salon gown in black

    Salon and treatment wear

Priced to suit the garment and quantity

Waterproof salon gowns and wrap-around tunics for salons, barbers, clinics and treatment rooms. A small category, but a genuinely distinct one that is usually specified badly by putting everyone in a polo shirt.

Prices are a guide only and depend on the exact garment, branding method and quantity. Send your list and we will return an exact quote, usually within 24 hours. Ask us for a quote.

Embroidery and Printing on Premier

Every Premier order is branded in-house at our Bradford facility. We embroider logos onto polos, sweatshirts and jackets, and use DTF or screen printing for t-shirts, large designs and full-colour artwork. Not sure which to choose? See our embroidery vs printed logos guide.

Aprons are the garment most people get wrong, and it is nearly always placement. A logo centred on a bib apron looks correct on a hanger and sits too high once the apron is tied and the fabric pulls. We set placement against how the garment is actually worn, and we will show you a proof before anything goes on the machine.

On this range we recommend embroidery over a transfer in most cases, because hospitality garments are washed hot and often, usually commercially. A transfer will survive that, but embroidery survives it better and looks better for longer. Where the artwork is full colour or the garment is too light to carry stitching, we use DTF instead and say why.

Where a venue carries several apron styles across different rooms, we keep thread colours consistent across all of them, so the bar and the kitchen still read as the same brand even though the garments are different.

    • Screen printing is best value at volume

Premier Workwear FAQs

Common questions from Bradford and Yorkshire businesses ordering branded Premier workwear.

  • Embroidery has a minimum of 6 garments per design, and you can mix styles and sizes within that, so bib aprons and waist aprons can count towards the same order. For DTF and screen printing the minimum is 10. There is no minimum on re-orders once your design is on file with us.
