We embroider waterproof and insulated jackets regularly, choosing placement so the stitching sits in a lined or taped area wherever the garment allows, which keeps it performing as intended once a logo is on it.
Softshells and fleeces take embroidery well with the right backing, which is what stops a logo pulling or puckering on a stretch fabric. If a particular jacket is better suited to a printed or heat applied badge, we will tell you before the order runs rather than after.
