Construction Workwear Bradford
Branded workwear for construction sites and tradespeople across Yorkshire, embroidered and packed in-house at our Bradford unit.

Construction Workwear Bradford
BR Apparel supplies branded workwear to construction sites and specialist trades teams working across Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire region.
Trade clothing has a harder life than most garments. It gets washed at high temperatures, snagged on materials, and judged by customers the moment a team steps out of the van. We focus on garments that hold up to that, and on branding that stays sharp after dozens of wash cycles.
Everything is embroidered, printed and packed in-house, which keeps lead times short and quality in our own hands.
Site-Ready Garments
Construction kit ranges from full hi-vis for site crews to branded polos and softshells for indoor trades working in homes, offices and finished buildings. The right garment depends on where the team actually spends their day.
Typical items we supply across construction and the trades include:
- Hi-vis polos, sweatshirts and jackets for site teams
- Branded polos and t-shirts for electricians, plumbers and decorators
- Embroidered softshells for trade vans and supervisors
- Workwear hoodies, sweatshirts and quarter-zips
- Painter and decorator workwear and branded aprons
- Waterproof jackets, bodywarmers and gilets
We will recommend garment weights, brands and fits based on what the team actually does on site, not just what looks neat on a sample.

Branding for Site Teams
Branding for construction and trades teams isn’t one-size-fits-all. Hi-vis kit needs branding placed clear of the reflective tape. A plumber’s polo needs a clean left-chest logo that reads well in a customer’s kitchen. A painter’s sweatshirt needs branding that survives paint splatter and bleach. For most trades that means embroidery, with DTF transfers reserved for short-run or event kit.
Common branding choices for construction clients:
- Embroidered company name across the back yoke
- Left-chest logo with role or trade underneath
- Reflective-tape-aware placement on hi-vis garments
- Sub-contractor names embroidered alongside the main contractor logo
- DTF transfers and screen-printed branding for short-run or temporary kit
Embroidery is our default for construction. It stays sharp through hundreds of washes.
Who We Supply in Bradford Construction
Bradford has a busy construction economy that goes well beyond the headline housing developments. Behind every site there are specialist trades and supporting crews, many of them small businesses and sole traders working across the BD postcodes and the wider West Yorkshire region. The workwear needs vary considerably between a groundworker on a wet October morning and a tradesperson working inside a finished building.
We currently supply branded workwear to construction and trades teams including:
- Electrical contractors and electricians
- Plumbing, heating and gas teams
- Bricklaying and groundworks
- Painting and decorating firms
- Industrial services and facilities maintenance
- Main contractors and house-builders
- Scaffolding, roofing and cladding teams
- Joinery, shopfitting and dry-lining
If your team sits somewhere between these categories or you run multiple trades under one brand, talk to us about how to keep the look consistent without forcing every department into the same garment. Our wider Bradford workwear supply covers the same fundamentals beyond construction-specific kit.
Why Bradford Contractors Choose BR Apparel
Being based in Bradford means we are close to the sites, yards and offices we supply. Sizing visits to depots, drop-offs to multiple addresses and quick swap-outs for misfits are all easier when your supplier is 15 minutes down the road rather than the other end of the country.
Everything is produced in-house: embroidery, DTF transfers and screen printing all run under one roof. That control is what lets us commit to a 3 to 4 working day turnaround on most construction orders and hold to it without sub-contracting the production out.
Once an artwork is approved and a sizing set agreed, we hold both on file. New starters can be added to the next run with a single email rather than re-specifying the whole order.

Built for Repeat Supply
Construction teams change shape constantly. People join, people leave, garments go missing on site. The first order is the easy bit. The value shows up in months two, six and twelve.
- New starters kitted out within days, not weeks
- Lost or damaged garments replaced on the same artwork
- Consistent branding across multi-site teams
- Stock held for fast-growing contractors
That means we can keep contractors across Yorkshire kitted out reliably as their teams grow. See the areas we support for delivery coverage.

Common questions from Bradford contractors and trade teams ordering branded site clothing.
- Yes. We supply hi-vis polos, sweatshirts, hoodies and jackets in the high-visibility colours typically required on Bradford construction sites. Branding is placed so it does not interfere with the reflective panels, and we can advise on which garments suit which environments, including roadside, yard and internal fit-out work.
- Both. A lot of our work is for trades that rarely wear hi-vis at all. Electricians, plumbers, painters and other indoor trades typically order branded polos, softshells, hoodies and trade-specific workwear with a clean left-chest logo. We will recommend the right garment for where your team actually works, not just default to high-visibility for everyone.
- Standard turnaround is 3 to 4 working days from artwork approval, subject to garment availability. For larger contractors with stock held on file we can often turn new-starter orders around faster. If you have an urgent need, whether that is a new contract win, a team expansion or replacement kit, tell us the deadline and we will be straight about what is achievable.
- Yes. This is a common request from M&E sub-contractors, scaffolding firms and other trades working on larger sites. We can embroider the main contractor logo on one position and the sub-contractor branding on another, keeping both visible without crowding the garment.
- No fixed minimum. Smaller trade teams might order 6 to 10 garments, larger contractors run 100 or more at a time. Pricing per garment improves with quantity, but we will not turn away a small order from a growing business.
- Yes, and the best way is by appointment. Call us on 01274 491410 or get in touch through the contact page, and we will set a time at our Bradford showroom to walk you through fabric weights, fit and embroidery samples in person. For larger contractors we can also run on-site sizing sessions so the whole team gets fitted in one visit.
- Our focus is branded upper-body and jacket layers such as polos, hoodies, sweatshirts, softshells and hi-vis. We do not stock work trousers or safety footwear, but we will happily point you in the right direction if you need them as part of a wider site kit.
