Beyond the garments
Once the product is made properly there is a list of other things a new brand needs. Here is what we can help with, what we will point you at, and what is not ready yet.
What we can help with
A list rather than a bundle. Take the parts that are useful to you and ignore the rest. Nothing here depends on buying anything else.
Artwork
£20 to £100Most artwork arrives in a state that will not print. A logo pulled off a website, a screenshot, or a JPG at four hundred pixels wide. Print and embroidery both need clean vector artwork, and if yours is not vector it has to be redrawn.
A vector redraw is £20 to £100, depending on how much detail is in the file. A simple wordmark sits at the bottom of that range. A detailed illustration with fine linework sits at the top.
Embroidery also needs the artwork digitising, which is a separate job and is quoted with the order. It is charged once per design, then held here and reused free on every run after that.
Visual proofs are issued for your written approval before anything is produced. They are included as standard and never charged.
The vector file and the digitised file are your property, and available on request at any time.
Send us what you have before you pay for anything. If your file is already usable we will tell you, and you will not need this at all.
Own label and finishing
Available nowThe part that turns a decorated blank into a product, and the reason most founders come to us in the first place. This is core to what we do rather than an extra.
Woven neck labels in your brand, printed care labels with the fibre composition and washing instructions the law requires on anything sold to a UK consumer, swing tickets, size tabs, and every garment individually bagged with a size sticker ready for the shelf.
Sizes, fold types and the full detail are on our own label page, and we have a label guide we will send you on request.
A website
By referralWe do not build websites and we do not resell them. If you need one, we will put you in touch with Webvise Ltd, who built this site, and you deal with them directly.
They quote you, you pay them, and nothing comes back to us. It keeps the price honest and it keeps us out of the middle of a job we are not doing.
Retail and pop up space
In developmentNothing is agreed and we have no retail partners to introduce you to. Read that first, before the rest of this.
We are in conversation with shopping centre groups about short term space for new brands. If it comes off we will say so on this page. Until then, treat it as something we are working on rather than something we can offer you.
What we will not do
We are a garment manufacturer and decorator, and we would rather be straight about where that ends.
We do not design your brand
You know your audience better than we do, and the tools available now make design more accessible than it has ever been.
We cannot advise on trademarks or brand names
That is a job for a solicitor or a trademark agent. We will tell you when to check. We will not tell you what to check for.
We will not sell you a finish that is wrong for your job
Not even when it is the more expensive one. Ask us which method suits your artwork and you will get a straight answer.
What the labels mean
Available now means exactly that. By referral means we do not do it ourselves and we take nothing for the introduction. In development means we are working on it and it is not there yet. Neither of the last two is a soft way of saying yes.
The garments, the decoration, the labels and the finishing are settled, and how those are priced is set out in full. Everything on this page is genuinely additional to that.
Tell us what you need
Say what you are missing as well as what you are making. If we cannot do it, we will say so, and where we know somebody who can we will tell you who.
