Heavyweight blank hoodies, 350gsm to 500gsm

Every hoodie we supply from 350gsm upward, across Stanley/Stella, Native Spirit and AS Colour. 350gsm is the sweet spot for most brands, 400gsm is a statement, and the AS Colour Made Hood at 500gsm is the heaviest hoodie we supply.

Weight is what a customer judges a hoodie by in the hand, and it is usually the first thing a founder asks about. The trade off is colour: the heavier the garment, the fewer colours it is made in.

Everything below is held in stock and ready to be relabelled with your own woven neck label.

The Made Hood at 500gsm is the heaviest hoodie we supply. Four colours only, but if the weight is the point of your brand, this is the garment. Expect it to feel closer to outerwear than a hoodie.

A word on 400gsm

Founders often arrive asking for 400gsm or heavier, and it is worth knowing what that costs you beyond the price.

At 400gsm the colour choice narrows sharply. Most styles at that weight come in eight colours or fewer, usually black, navy, a natural shade and a grey, where the 350gsm Cruiser 2.0 comes in 51. The widest 400gsm hoodie in the ranges we supply, the Stanley/Stella Cooper Dry (STSU797), comes in 15.

At 350gsm you get the full colour range and a garment that still feels substantial in the hand. Unless the weight is central to your brand story, 350gsm is usually the better trade.

If the weight genuinely is the story, the AS Colour Made Hood at 500gsm goes further than any other hoodie we supply. You just accept four colours to get there.

Crews and zips at the same weights

If a hood is not right for your range, the same weights come as crews and zips. The Stanley/Stella Changer 2.0 (STSU178), the oversized Radder 2.0 (STSU208) and the Native Spirit NS400 are 350gsm crews, and the AS Colour Stencil Half Zip (5125) is 350gsm. The Stanley/Stella Ryler (STSU255) and the AS Colour Heavy Crew (5145) are 400gsm oversized crews, and the Miller Dry (STSU795) is a 400gsm boxy quarter zip.

Matching joggers

For a 350gsm set, the Stanley/Stella Mover 2.0 jogger (STBU185) sits alongside the Cruiser 2.0 and Slammer 2.0. Brushed cotton throughout, consistent hand.

For a 400gsm set, the Voicer hoodie goes with the Jammer Dry jogger (STBU157). Heavier, boxier, and the colour choice is narrower.

The Cruiser 2.0 and Cultivator 2.0 run to 5XL. Most other hoodies run XXS to 3XL.

Which decoration suits it

Embroidery suits a small chest logo and any quantity, including a single sample. Screen print suits a simple design at 100 or more of that design, and a well cured print can outlast the garment. DTF suits full colour artwork and first runs under 100. A one colour print on a dark garment needs a white base underneath, which makes it two colours.

Four to six weeks from artwork approval. Woven labels take 7 to 10 working days from the label maker, on new and repeat orders alike. They run alongside production rather than adding to it. Orders without labels are quicker. Decoration and finishing only is usually two to three weeks. Reorders on approved artwork take the same time as the first run.

Everything here is held in stock, so there is no fabric minimum and no waiting on a production run. Reorders come from the same stock, which means your second run matches your first. Relabelling and finishing start at 25 garments, with mixed styles counted together.
