Heavyweight blank t-shirts, 240gsm to 300gsm

Every t-shirt we supply from 240gsm upward, across Stanley/Stella, Native Spirit and AS Colour: the Freestyler (STTU788) and the Box Tee (5030) at 240gsm, the Asher (STTU078) and the Heavy Tee (5080) at 280gsm, and the French Terry NS308 at 300gsm, the heaviest tee we list.

240gsm is where a tee stops reading as promotional. It is structured, it sits away from the body, and it is what most streetwear brands are actually asking for when they say premium.

Everything below is held in stock and ready to be relabelled with your own woven neck label.

Choosing between them

240gsm is heavy enough to hold a shape without feeling like a sweatshirt. The Freestyler (STTU788) is cut relaxed, in organic open end cotton with a dry handfeel, and the Box Tee (5030) is a relaxed box.

280gsm is the streetwear weight. The Asher (STTU078) is boxy oversized and garment washed; the Heavy Tee (5080) is relaxed, in 14 colours.

At 300gsm the NS308 is French terry rather than plain jersey, garment dyed and cut oversized. French terry has a looped back, like a light sweatshirt, so it handles differently from the other four and is worth feeling before you choose it.

The trade off is colour

The heavier the tee, the fewer colours it tends to come in. The AS Colour Heavy Tee comes in 14 colours and the Box Tee in 10, where the 180gsm Staple Tee (5001) runs to 68. If a specific colour matters more than the weight, check it before you settle on a style.

Building the rest of the drop

A heavy tee looks most deliberate next to a hoodie of a similar cut. The boxy Asher sits with the oversized Slammer 2.0 hoodie (STSU209) at 350gsm or the boxy Voicer (STSU256) at 400gsm, and the full set of wide cuts is on the oversized page.

The Freestyler and the Asher run XXS to 3XL, the Box Tee S to 3XL, the Heavy Tee S to 5XL, and the NS308 XS to XXL.

Which decoration suits it

Embroidery suits a small chest logo and any quantity, including a single sample. Screen print suits a simple design at 100 or more of that design, and a well cured print can outlast the garment. DTF suits full colour artwork and first runs under 100. A one colour print on a dark garment needs a white base underneath, which makes it two colours.

Four to six weeks from artwork approval. Woven labels take 10 to 14 working days from the label maker, on new and repeat orders alike. They run alongside production rather than adding to it. Orders without labels are quicker. Decoration and finishing only is usually two to three weeks. Reorders on approved artwork take the same time as the first run.

Everything here is held in stock, so there is no fabric minimum and no waiting on a production run. Reorders come from the same stock, which means your second run matches your first. Relabelling and finishing start at 25 garments, with mixed styles counted together.
