Twenty to thirty minutes from Halifax
Clothing manufacturer for Halifax brands
Your woven label in the neck, a care label, a swing ticket, each garment bagged ready to sell. From 25 garments, in Bradford.
Halifax opened the Piece Hall in 1779 so cloth makers had one place to sell their finished pieces. A clothing brand is still judged on the finished piece: the label in the neck, the swing ticket, the bag it arrives in.
We do not make cloth. The garments are premium blanks from Stanley/Stella, Native Spirit and AS Colour; we decorate them, swap the supplier’s label for your woven one (Native Spirit arrives unlabelled), then add the care label and swing ticket and bag each one. The Bradford unit is twenty to thirty minutes from Halifax by road.
What finished means
The woven neck label
Fold type changes how a label sits in the neck, and it is chosen before the labels are made. Seeing a few folds in a real garment makes the choice quick.
A second label
A woven label can also go on the side seam, sleeve or cuff, and on the inner panel of a cap. A small side seam label on a heavyweight tee such as the 280gsm AS Colour Heavy Tee (5080) is a detail customers notice.
Care label and swing ticket
Printed care labels and swing tickets run at 100 per design, the same as woven labels. The swing ticket is where the brand story goes, so it is worth writing before the artwork is sent.
Bagged, ready to sell
Each garment is bagged and tagged. A box can go straight to a stockist, a market stall or your own dispatch shelf without anything else being done to it.
